Burke's Peerage
and Gentry
The official Burke's Peerage website, just opened on the 1st of
August, 2001. The web site includes a fully searchable
database of the family records contained in the Scottish edition
of the book. Viewing of a partial abstract from the
database is free, but a search returning any detail incurs a
charge to the user. There is a section dedicated to the Hannays
of Kirkdale.
