Do you Crochet?

Here is another message we got from Patricia (Hannay) James in Australia, thanking clan members for their response to her original letter (see end of article):

I would like to thank you for placing my notice about Crocheting on the Clan Hannay Website. If you remember I was the one who crocheted the queen size bed Hannay tartan rug. You were very helpful and posted my message about wanting to hear from people who love to crochet.

Well I would like to advise you that I have received a few emails from Hannay Clan members who loved the rug and who were interested in obtaining the instructions.

I have kept in contact with a yound lass who lives in California and I have just received another from a Lady wanting to know about the rug.

Thank you for your help. I am so pleased and excited about the whole thing.

I know it has been a while since you first published this article. I wasn't sure what response I would receive.

Thanks again Best wishes Patricia James

PS I have completed a smaller knee rug:

The original message was as follows:

Looking for Clan Crocheters!

My name is Patricia James (nee Hannay) and I live in Clontarf Beach, Queensland, Australia. I am a very keen crocherer and would love to hear from Clan members who crochet. I have just completed a family Hannay tartan rug big enough to fit a queen size bed:

If anyone is interested in communicating with me, my email address is agrp@bigpond.com or write to me at:

I look forward in hearing from you soon.
