Clan Challenge Golf Tournament
March, 2003: We recently received the
following mail soliciting interest in a Golf Tournament in
Florida. If you are interested, please contact Mr. McDonald
directly.
To Our Brother Clans:
Clan Donald - Florida Region is contemplating
holding a "Clan Challenge Golf Tournament" in South Florida
sometime in the fall of 2004. This would be a fun tournament
(trophies) involving four person teams, in a best ball
competition, benefiting Clan Donald and the Scottish American
Society of South Florida.
I am contacting all of the clan organizations
in an attempt to gauge the interest in this activity. I
therefore ask you to contact your members and let me know if
there is any interest by your clan in participating. Although we
would be limited to 36 teams (144 players) you may field more
than one team.
As this will be a national tournament, and
will require many months of preparation, I request that you let
me know if your clan is interested as soon as possible.
You may contact me at
